Dr. Alfred Russel Wallace.

Dear Sir

We enclose you a pull of each of the new block gathered together for "The Wonderful Century", and trust you will be able to proceed with the work.

Of course these are only roughly pulled to use for inserting in M.S.

We regret the delay, but we have had considerable difficulty in obtaining the blocks.

Yours faithfully | [illeg. signature].
