Sent by Alfred Russel Wallace, Kingston, Canada to Annie Wallace (née Mitten) Hurstpierpoint, Sussex on 3 August 1887.
In this letter Wallace informs his wife when he is to leave Canada and when he expects to arrive in Liverpool. Wallace suggests that they all go to the Lake District for a holiday where they have never been. Wales and Derbyshire are suggested as alternative destinations. Wallace signs off saying he is going to the Thousand Islands.
