My dear Sir

If you have a few of your beautiful Malay or Zoological specimens that you could without inconvenience exhibit at the Linnean Conversazione on Wednesday 1st May I should feel very much obliged-- as I am curious to keep up as much as possible the zoological character of the Society.

Yours very truly | George Bentham [signature]

A. R Wallace Esq
