Frith Hill, Godalming

Feb.[ruar]y 27th. 1888

W. Stanley Withers Esq.

Dear Sir

I have had some difficulty in finding a letter of Darwin's that did not contain some scientific matter or discussion that I could not part with. I have at length found one, written by him throughout, which you are quite welcome to. Most of his letters were written by an amanuensis & only signed by himself.

Yours very faithfully| Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
