Parkstone, Dorset

Sept[embe]r. 23rd 1901

W. Scawen Blunt, Esq.

Dear Mr Blunt

Many thanks for the copies of your "Times" letter. I have had a very interesting letter from Mr J.W. Fortescue giving further details about the one-armed boy which make the evidence fairly complete.

I enclose you a copy of a cut of the wild horse with a letter from Mr Scherren [[2]] with some facts which may be of interest to you, & which please do not return.

Yours very truly | Alfred R Wallace [signature]
