Our zoology collection contains inspiring literature on all groups of living animals except arachnids and insects.

The Library holds all significant zoological publications from 1469 to the present day.

Notable collections include the artwork of Thomas Hardwicke (1755-1835) and the manuscript material of John Edward Gray (Keeper of Zoology, Natural History Museum 1840-1875).
