Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Micro-CT Laboratory, for maintenance and development of instrumentation, as well as training on the Micro- and Nano-CT systems and various 3D software packages.
Responsible for operation and maintenance of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) and elemental analysis (carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen).
Responsible for mineral preparation laboratories, including the preparation of polished sections and ore mounts.
Responsible for maintaining the electronics workshop and providing electronics and engineering support for scientific instrumentation.
Responsible for maintaining a variety of analytical electron beam instruments and developing analytical and imaging protocols to meet diverse research needs.
Responsible for Electron probe micro-analysis using the Cameca SX100 Electron Microprobe.
Responsible for managing staff in the electron microscope unit, as well as the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a number of imaging and tomography instruments.
Responsible for managing the Sackler Biodiversity Imaging Lab
Responsible for the day-to-day running of multi-user chemical analytical laboratories, as well as for the operation and maintenance of a range of analytical instruments.
Responsible for maintaining and developing of the X-ray diffraction facilities and training of users.
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, training and development of LSCM (laser scanning confocal microscope) and a range of electron beam instruments
