Most often referred to by the common names cauliflower coral and brush coral, species of the genus Pocillopora are very small and have a fuzzy appearance.
These popular corals are typically fast growers. They come in a wide variety of colors including deep pinks, pale purples, blues and startling purples.
Pocillopora corals rank second only to those of the genus Acropora for their contribution to reef structures.
