National Biodiversity Network
The National Biodiversity Network is a consortium of government agencies and voluntary bodies which includes: the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC), the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), The Wildlife Trusts, the Natural History Museum and the National Federation for Biological Recorders. The consortium supports the development of the NBN as an efficient and effective means of increasing knowledge of our natural history by sharing information about biodiversity and providing comprehensive access to data by the public.
