Coffee berries prior to the husk being removed and the
berry dried.
For El Salvador Coffee:
- Represents 3% of the country's GNP.
- Generates between 30-50% of agricultural export earnings.
- Supports 20,000 small coffee farms,which employ 134,000 people.
Worldwide coffee:
- Is the second largest legal export commidity in the world.
- Has an annual turnover of approximately $10 billion.
