Diagnostic Features
  • Based on a single adoral interambulacral fragment.
  • Tuberculation pattern unclear because sutures not visible; probably one primary and a smaller secondary interradial tubercle.
  • Tubercles perforate and reportedly non-crenulate.
  • Adradial suture denticulate (ambulacral-interambulacral suture imbricate).
  • Perignathic girdle of low adradial apophyses on interambulacral plates plus median node.
  • Ambulacra unknown.

Late Triassic (Carnian); Italy.

Indeterminate.

Monotypic.
Remarks

Looks rather similar to Serpianotiaris but the only known fragment is completely inadequate for detailed comparison to be made. If the tubercles are truly non-crenulate and not just poorly preserved, then this distinguishes the fragment from Serpianotiaris.
