[=Clypeolampadidae, Kier, 1962, p. 187]
| Diagnosis | Cassiduloids with:
|
|---|---|
| Range | Cretaceous (Cenomanian) to Recent. |
| Remarks | Included in this family are a few forms that have sunken phyllodes, which result in non-projecting 'pseudobourrelets'. These are not true bourrelets as they incorporate post-basicoronal plates. Close to Cassidulidae but immediately distinguished from that group by its inframarginal periproct. Gitolampadids are similar in phyllode structure but have a marginal, longitudinal periproct. Gray, J. E. 1851.
