Diagnosis	Urechinine holasteroids with: thick-shelled test; pore-pairs double throughout; episternal plates symmetrically placed behind sternal plate and followed by single rostral plate; subanal fasciole surrounding rostral plate.
Range	Palaeocene to Recent; Indo-Pacific.
Remarks	Name changed to Corystusidae by the International Commision on Zoological Nomenclature opinion 2238 (case 3419), December, 2009.

subanal fasciole surrounding rostral plate.
