Classification and/or Status | Acroechinoidea incertis sedis Poorly known |
Remarks | Originally assigned to the Diadematoida by Nicolleau & Vadet (1995, p. 77). However, attribution to the Diadematoida seems improbable due to the reportedly imperforate primary tubercles. Without knowledge of the ambulacral structure this taxon is impossible to place. An attribution to the basal Arbacioida, however, seems more likely that to the Diadematoida (similar forms occur in the Glyphocyphidae, e.g. Pleurodiadema). Nicolleau, P. & Vadet, A. 1995.
