• Test small and depressed with rounded ambitus.
• Apical disc firmly bound to corona; dicyclic.
• Ambulacra straight; with uniserial pore-pairs; plating trigeminate. Detailed arrangement of plating unknown.
• Interambulacral plates only slightly wider than tall, dominated by a single large primary tubercle; tubercle perforate and probably non-crenulate.
• Tubercles vertically separated at ambitus and aborally. Remainder of plate presumably covered in fine granules only.
• Peristome relatively large with shallow, open buccal notches.
• Primary spines, perignathic girdle and lantern all unknown.

• Only the type species.

Pedinoida, Pedinidae.

Subjective junior synonym of Hemipedina Wright, 1855

Quenstedt\'s description and illustration are very sketchy, but from what can be made out, this species is indistinguishable from Hemipedina.
