Fletcher (1979) stated:-

Bapta was again proposed by Stephens, 1829 [July], Syst. Cat. Br. Insects (2): 147; and 1831, Illust. Br. Ent. (Haustellata) 3: 294.
P. bimaculata was incorrectly attributed to Villers, both by Stephens and by Westwood.
