The Former British Petroleum Microfossil Collection

The former BP Collection contains hundreds of thousands of micropalaeontological, palynological and nannofossil picked slides, faunal slides, loose specimens and residues from some 3800 wells and outcrop localities throughout the world.
This database resource represents the microfossil well-run collection resulting from BP's exploration activities since the 1950s.
Its main purpose is to allow researchers to identify material of interest, based on its geographical location.
Please note that in some cases the data is sparse. Records are updated regularly when data become available.
