Science Policy Coordinator John Jackson deals with science policy and related issues for the Natural History Museum. These include policy discussion and submissions to the UK government and other bodies, developing the Natural History Museum's own policies and frameworks for science, coordinating independent reviews of the Museum's science activities and supporting strategic discussion and development of the Museum's science.
Before joining the Natural History Museum in 1998, John worked on science policy, environmental monitoring and assessment as well as various aspects of marine and freshwater biology.
Frances is Personal Assistant to the Director of Science and John Jackson and in this role she is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Science Directorate.
