From 2009 the Museum’s seed plant collections will be located in the Darwin Centre.
The move to new purpose-built accommodation has enabled major changes to the arrangement of the collections:
- The European and General Herbaria will be amalgamated.
- We have begun updating the sequence of taxa for this amalgamated collection to that recommended by the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group (APG II).
- The British Herbarium will be accessible through the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity.
