Scientific enquiries

Scientific enquiries relating to the collections can be addressed to the relevant collections management team.

It can be difficult to answer questions about specimens not yet on the Museum’s collections management system. Most other specimens were either registered by hand in a ledger book register or may be unregistered.

If you require information for a small non-inventoried group, we may be able to provide a spreadsheet from the collection. However, as this is extremely time-consuming we may have to charge for the curator’s time.
