Research visitor facilities
The Palaeontology Department has a number of facilities available for research visitors to the fossil sponge collection.
Bench space and equipment
Bench space is provided next to the collection and in the Brachiopod Library.
The Brachiopod Library is equipped with:
- a standard compound microscope
- a separate camera stand with lighting
Visitors to the fossil sponge collection may use these facilities by prior arrangement with the Collections Manager.
Specialist library
The Hinde Library contains:
- books
- monographs
- reprints
These may be consulted but not removed.
