Employment history

August 2011- present             Conservator, Natural History Museum    

  • conducting remedial conservation treatments including stabilization and repair of specimens for exhibition and research;
  • assisting in the preventive conservation programme including: condition reporting, environmental monitoring, accelerated age testing of new materials and products;
  • providing conservation advice and support for project based issues, as well as general collection concerns;
  • producing replications on a range of specimens to support research and curation;
  • maintaining and managing laboratory spaces, including health and safety;
  • Managing and procuring laboratory and curatorial collections project resources, as well as maintain the emergency salvage supplies.
