School event suitable for Reception and KS1 students.
Encourage pupils to engage with specimens through role-play, donning hats and binoculars and taking a self-guided explorer challenge through the Museum. Activities are designed to develop close observation and other science skills while appealing to the imagination and sense of adventure.
Please note, the class teacher will need to refer to pre-visit information, brief pupils and adult helpers and lead the activity. Accompanying adults will need to read through activity instructions and work with the pupils. Pre-visit activity details and a free classroom activity are included.
