Fossil amphibian collection

The fossil amphibian collection at the Natural History Museum comprises approximately 400 specimens and casts.

There are 46 type specimens, mostly of temnospondyl amphibians but also some microsaurs, nectrideans, frogs and salamanders.

Late Devonian to Pleistocene

Geographical range:

The collection includes material from all continents except Antarctica.
