Qualifications

1995-2002: BSc in Biology, University of Évora, Portugal.

End of course dissertation on Marine Ecology: “Spatial and temporal distribution and abundance of four species of Trochidae (Mollusca, Gastropoda) on the SW coast of Portugal”.

Curatorial responsabilities

• Curation and upkeep of type and general collections of marine molluscs.
• Answering of enquiries relating to the collections and their curation. 
• Provision of loans.
• Assist visitors to the Mollusca Section
• Identification and accession of new material of marine molluscs.
• Maintaining the Mollusca Section database (KE EMu)
• Maintaining the sectional library and archive.
