Biology AS and A-Level day
This exciting day aims to inspire students about working in science and to provide real examples of biology in use.
Students meet museum scientists and find out about their work, participate in a Taxonomy workshop, and witness the scale of our collections on a tour of the Darwin Centre, our Zoology research and storage facility.
The days provide enrichment for all AS and A-level Biology courses. Our scientists are briefed on the Edexcel Visit Report coursework.

This activity is free for schools, but should be booked in advance by calling the NHM booking team on +44 (0)20 7942 5555.
Due to their popularity, the days book up very quickly. If groups of less than 30 have booked, or cancellations occur, small groups or individuals may be accommodated.
The day includes a Nature Live event, which can be booked separately.
