Our visit planner service will help you plan a visit that suits you, making sure you get the most from your trip. Our facilitated visit service offers support on the day from a member of the Museum staff. You can enjoy a hands-on experience with real specimens in the Investigate Centre.

Visit planner service

Let us help you plan a great day out. Whatever you are interested in, staff can help you plan your visit . By discussing your needs in advance, we will make sure you have a great time.

Availability: Everyday. Please give as much as notice as you can so we have time to put your plan together.

Facilitated visit service

Let us support you on the day. If you would like a member of staff to help you during your visit, we can arrange that. They will make sure everything runs smoothly, will introduce your group to the Museum and can answer your questions.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends on a first-come, first-served basis.

Investigate Centre

Touch, weigh and measure real specimens. From beetles to meteorites, book some time in the Investigate Centre and discover hundreds of real natural history specimens. Staff are there to help you make the most of your visit. Find out more about the Investigate Centre.
