Venue hire charges

Venue hire charges include the cost of your personal event and operations managers, security, cloakroom staff and toilet attendants.

Hire charges can vary depending on the length of your event and day of hire. All venues are available to book seven days a week and exempt from VAT. Prices below are a guide. For more information, please get in touch.

Venue hire charges

  • Central Hall: from £19,900
  • Earth Galleries: early cocktail rate is £7,350; dinners from £11,150
  • Flett Theatre: all-day hire £2,600; half-day rates on request
  • Darwin Centre: early cocktail rate £4,200; dinners from £6,300
  • Private views of our special exhibitions can be arranged from £4,000
