Summary

It is estimated that the NHM reptile collection holds approximately 8,500 type specimens of which 50% of the currently recognised snake species are represented. I curate and facilitate research on this group with the avid intent of enhancing, improving and maintaining the collection. I also see as intrinsically important facilitating the increase in the overall scientific knowledge associated with specimens under my care, through managing visits, enquiries, identifications, loans and collaborative projects.
