Summary

Recent global declines have made amphibians a focal point for conservation biology. However, despite nearly 7,400 described species, many groups remain poorly understood in terms of phylogenetics, ecology, distribution, and extinction risk. I curate the amphibian collections of the Natural History Museum. These collections are used by an international research community to understand the historical drivers of biodiversity and causes of current declines. My research explores amphibian diversification and speciation via analyses of high-throughput DNA sequences, morphology, and spatial data.
