Diagnostic Features
  • Test circular in outline, low domal in profile.
  • Apical disc hemicyclic with ocular plates IV and V insert (periproct displaced to the left).
  • Ambulacral plating polygeminate with 4 pore-pairs to a plate; in oblique rows separated by secondary tubercles.
  • Pore-zones forming uniform adradial band not expanding adorally.
  • Interambulacral plates with single primary tubercle flanked by much smaller secondary tubercles. Remainder of plate with tertiary tubercles.
  • Spines less than half the length of the test.
  • Periproct decagonal.
  • Globiferous pedicellariae with tubular blade and single lateral tooth; no neck.
