Diagnostic Features
  • Small subglobular test
  • Apical disc plating unknown; no gonopores open in either specimen
  • Aboral ambulacra subpetaloid, with slightly enlarged pore-pairs
  • No phyllodes adorally
  • Peristome small, rounded
  • Periproct small, inframarginal and transverse

Species Included Only the type species (two poorly preserved individuals)
Classification and/or Status Irregularia; Cassiduloida; Pygaulidae

Probably a junior subjective synonym of Echinogalerus
Remarks Very close to Echinogalerus in appearance.  A rounded peristome is also present in E. rostratus Refigured by Kier (1962) who treated it as a cassiudloid incertae sedis.
