Classification and/or Status

Holasteroida, Meridosternata, Echinocorythidae.

Monotypic. Subjective junior synonym of Pseudananchys

Differs from Pseudananchys only in being rather flattened. According to Peron & Gauthier, however, there is quite some range in the elevation of the aboral surface in the type species P. algiris. Consequently, Zumoffenia is here treated as a junior synonym of Pseudananchys.
