Nye (1975) stated:-

H. cailino was originally described as *'Heliotis', an incorrect subsequent spelling. The date of publication of the part of Seitz containing Aleucanitis was stated on page 389 as 1913 December 1st in both the English and in the German editions.

Poole (1989) included BOLINA Duponchel, 1845; LEUCANITIS Gienée, 1852; SYNEDA Guenée, 1852; SYNEDOIDA Edwards, 1878; and ALEUCANITIS Warren, 1913 as junior synonyms of DRASTERIA Hübner, 1818.
