Notes:
Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:-

A junior homonym of Cirrhocephala Bonaparte, 1854, Naumannia 1854: 213 - Aves. There is no objective replacement name but Cirrhocephala venosa was stated by Hampson, 1899 Proc. zool. Soc. Lond. 1898: 677, 679, 682, to be congeneric with Phalaena temira Stoll, 1781, the type-species of Phostria Hübner, [1819]; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name.
