Both Temnora and natalis were Boisduval manuscript names that were made available by Walker.
Boisduval, [1875] 1874, in Boisduval & Guenée, Hist. nat. Insectes (Spec. gén. Lépid. Hétérocères) 1: 289 incorrectly attributed to himself the authorship of Temnora Walker, 1856.

TEMNORA was included within the subfamily SPHINGIDAE: MACROGLOSSINAE by Lemaire & Minet, in Kristensen (1999).
