Nye (1975) stated:-

N. sagitta Hübner, [1813] (a junior primary homonym of Noctua sagitta Fabricius, 1775. Syst. Ent.: 597), is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaenae cursoria Hufnagel, 1766, Berlin. Mag. 3: 416. The latter is therefore available for use as subjective replacement name.
