Arsilonche Lederer, 1857 was treated as a valid genus being revalidated by Beck 1996, Neue Entomologische Nachrichten 36 : 34.

Poole (1989) included CNEPHATA Billberg, 1820; ASEMA Sodoffsky, 1837; ARSILONCHE Lederer, 1857; ABLEPHARON Grote, 1873; and OMMATOSTOLIDEA Benjamin, 1933 as junior synonyms of SIMYRA Ochsenheimer, 1816.
