Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:-

Seleucia was established in the Phycitidae Anerastinae, part now Pyralidae Peoriinae, part Pyralidae Phycitinae. Seleucia is here included provisionally in the Peoriinae pending the location and study of the type of S. semirosella.
