Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:-

Sedenia was established in the Steniadae, now Pyralidae Pyraustinae; it was placed in the Pyralidae Crambinae by Hampson, 1896 Proc. zool. Soc. Lond. 1895: 974; and restored to the Pyraustidae, now Pyralidae Pyraustinae by Bleszynski, 1962, Corydon (A) 3: [3].

Shaffer (pers. comm.) treats SEDENIA in the CRAMBIDAE: SPILOMELINAE.
