Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:-

(but cited as 'albinella Cramer'; see below). Dyar designated on page 80 as type-species Phalaena albinella Stoll 1781 (but cited as albinella Cramer, an incorrest authorship), a nominal species not originally included in Rupela. At the same time, however, on page 79 Dyar placed albinella as a senior synonym of nivea, a nominal species originally included in Rupela. Under the Code, Article 69(a)(iv), this designation constituted the fixation of the originally included nominal species as type-species
