Notes:
Archaeoprepona Fruhstorfer, [1916] was designated as the type-genus for the new tribe Archaeopreponini (Nymphalidae, Preponinae) by Rydon, 1971, Entomologist's Record and Journal of Variation 83 : 313. [Preponinae is not adopted here].
