Nom. 30 (Opinion 1002): 86, placed P. xylostella Linnaeus on the Official List of Specific Names in Zoology: Name Number 2506, to be interpreted by reference to the lectotype designated by Bradley, 1966, Entomologist's Gaz. 17: 219.
