Notes:
Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:-

A junior homonym of Pachymorphus Chaudoir, 1838, Bull. Soc. imp. Nat. Moscou 1838 (1): 12 - Insecta, Coleoptera. There is no objective replacement name but in the opinion of our colleague Mr M. Shaffer, P. subductellus is congeneric with Murgisca cervinalis Walker, 1863, the type-species of Murgisca Walker, 1863; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name.

Pachymorphus Möschler, 1890, was established in the Crambidae, now Pyralidae Crambinae; it was transferred to the Pyralidae Chrysauginae by Bleszynski, 1966 Acta zool cracov. 11: 492.
