Notes:
Nye (1975) stated:-

Hampson cited the type-species as * Bryophila lithoplasta P√ľngeler, ined. No earlier published reference has been found so Hampson's description made the name nomenclaturally available.

Poole (1989) included OEDEREMIA in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (loc. cit.).

Poole (1989) included 10 species in the genus OEDEREMIA.
