Notes:
Fletcher (1979) stated:-

O. dispar is a junior subjective synonym of Scotosia floccosaria Walker, 1866, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 35: 1685.

As first reviser, I follow current usage and adopt Obila from a multiple original spelling in which both * Obita and Obila were used, the former on page 3, the latter on page 61.

Parsons et al. (1999) included 14 species in the genus OBILA.
