Notes:
Fletcher (1979) stated:-

This genus was originally proposed in the Geometridae, but was transferred by Prout in the collection of the BMNH to the Bombycidae; at the same time he placed Anticla symphora Schaus, 1929, in Seitz, Gross-Schmett. Erde 6: 691, pl.89k as a junior subjective synonym of Moeschleria hulstii. I have not found any published reference to the transfer or to the synonymy.
In the original combination of the type-species the generic name was published as * Möschleria, an incorrect original spelling under Article 32(c)(i) of the Code.

Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:-

Moeschleria was established in the Geometridae, but was transferred by Prout to the Bombycidae, in the BMNH collection. The transfer was published by Fletcher, 1979, in Nye, Generic Names Moths World 3: 132.
