Notes:
Fletcher (1979) stated:-

The original designation by Warren of Endropia basipuncta Moore, 1868, as type-species of Mimochroa was an error; the species does not agree with the generic diagnosis. Warren corrected the error in 1895, ibidem 2: 150, at the same time proposing the genus Ocoelophora for Endropia basipuncta Moore.

Under Article 70(a) of the Code, the case of a misidentified type-species should be referred to the Commission.

Parsons et al. (1999) included 6 species and 2 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus MIMOCHROA.
