Notes:
Nye (1975) stated:-

Available, but without included species until Hampson, 1909, ibidem 8: xii, 442. Micrathetis was the spelling adopted by Hampson, 1909, as first reviser from a multiple original spelling. Micrathetis was used in the phylogenetic table facing page 2, and Microthetis was used in the key to genera on page 18.

Poole (1989) included MICRATHETIS in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (loc. cit.).

Poole (1989) included 5 species in the genus MICRATHETIS.
