Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:-

Anomologa was included in the Anomologidae by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric. India (Ent.) 11: 15; it was transferred to the Gelechiidae by Hodges, 1978, in Dominick et al., Moths Am. N. of Mexico 6 (1): 9.
